ATAGO USA would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to those that experienced losses in the recent earthquake in Peru.
When natural disasters strike, we should all help each other and support those in need.

On November 27th 2007, we, ATAGO CO., LTD., received recognition as superior company from the Itabasi revenue office.
Such a superior company is selected every five years by the revenue office based on the investigation and
analysis of the management contents of enterprise. ATAGO received this recognition second time following the year 2002.

Winning "Grand Prize" of Invention Award! Hand-held Refractometer (Mar. 6, 2007)
Hand-held Refractometer MASTER series was awarded Grand Prize in 32nd Invention Award 2006.
Invention Award (hosted by The Japan Society for the Advancement of Inventions or JSAI and Nikkan Kogyo Newspaper) is awarded to small
and medium-sized enterprises and inventors who have contributed excellent idea of invention to promoting scientific skills, industrial development,
improvement of people's living, solution for environmental matters and so on. Grand Prize is the most superior award, and this is given to the enterprises,
group or individuals who have contributed especially epoch-making invention to the industrial development and improvement of people's living in Japan.
Commendation ceremony was held in Toranomon Pastoral Hotel, Minato-ku, Tokyo on February 28, and President Mr. Amamiya with some staffs attended there.
The commendation ceremony and interview of President Mr. Amamiya were widely broadcasted in Radio program "Evening File" on February 28.
Also, the article of Invention Award was appeared on Nikkan Kogyo Newspaper published on February 21 and March 1, 2007.
